Impending storm

Figure 1: Storm clouds approaching.
The news is plagued with typhoon Haiyan which is causing destruction at Phillipines. A storm which covers such a large area causing havoc and pulling out lives from people. Winds as fast as most sport cars can go 250km/h, the winds feels like you're standing in front of a gas turbine outlet at full revs.

Figure 2: Storm clouds approaching fast.
This infamous typhoon also affects my homeland as well as the island that I am staying, sudden winds can come and go with heavy torrential rain following after. It is quite scary to be suddenly surrounded by large dark clouds which burst out in fury.

Figure 3: Swept away.
Looks like there will be limited opportunities for a great sunset these days.

Elkhorn

Figure 1: Elk-horn sunset.
Every time I see the sunset, I felt so happy that I manage to survive that day or survive the whole week. It is a blessing to still be able to breathe in the fresh air and shout out loud at the beach. When the world is reaching to an end, I am still able to hold on to what is important to me.

It is inevitable to understand or perceive the truth through own limited knowledge. The urge is there but the path is already clear to me. My doubts are gone and I fully trust in Him. No matter what others say, I have full justification in my heart.

Figure 2: Massive and prominent.
These days are filled with greed and misleading facts. The days of truth and real agape intentions are gone in the hearts of people. Money is more important than kind spoken or deeds to help others. Everyone says, without money, the world won't turn around.

So elk-horn, please bear until the sun sets into the horizon. This is just for a little more time. Just a little bit and we're done.

Lunar Eclipse

The recent lunar eclipse has caught me breathless even though I only manage to see it from afar, this is probably the second time I have witnessed a lunar eclipse, my first is probably when I was 10 years old. I can't remember the moment though as I only took a glimpse and continue playing computer games, was such a terrible addict.

This time, at the moment of the lunar eclipse, probably most people will just stare at it without thinking much, but I stare at the red bloody looking moon and think, what if tomorrow never comes, what if it is the end of the world? Am I ready for such catastrophic events? Have I donned my suit of armour and prepared for the worst battle?
Figure 1: The lunar eclipse captured by my friend's DSLR.
No.. I am not ready for anything, I don't feel prepared and this bothered me greatly. I need to prioritize and balance myself in all aspects of spirituality and physically. When this moment of truth happens, all those worldly dreams I've dreamed, the career that I've fought for will all be reduced to nothingness.

Tragic, still I am a weak human after all, life is so fragile...

November Rains..

It's the last day of October and it rained heavily today with its share of thunder. It has been a very hot November at the place I am currently am and it rarely rains. The grasses are near to death, so the heavy rain at the end of October is indeed heaven sent.

I had a great rest despite the thunderstorm outside. Slept soundly and woke up filled with energy. End of the month is here, next month will be a better and different month filled with more challenges. I hope for strength and continue to rely on God's guidance and blessings.

I am having the Monday blues on this cool airy day. Half day of work today. Farewell October, thank you very much for the experiences. Welcome November with its new adventures and experiences.
