Creative release

I do my work best when I don't think too much. My mind lags whenever issues or any matters arises. If overloaded I can't think clearly and my decisions aren't the best. Thus, I need to always vent out these matters.
Figure 1: A new but tough stringed guitar.
Even a pressure cooker has a safety relief valve to release the tension of the steam, thus I need a kind of relief too, a type of release to vent out the thinks that tinker inside my mind. My preferred type of release is the creative release.

Figure 2: Dusty guitar.
I used to draw pictures, however I haven't been drawing for a long time and my hand seems to lost its touch. So, I decide to pick up photography as a form of creative release. It is only when I got a job that I do photography as a creative release as it is expensive.

Figure 3: The faded colorful strings.
My other form of creative release is by playing the guitar. I struggled learning the guitar when I was younger as I have no master to teach me. So, I have to learn piece by piece and by looking at the way other people played the guitar. It has been sometime since I played the guitar.

Figure 4: The body of a 30 year old guitar.
I enjoyed singing too, it is also one of my creative release. I believe each and everyone of us has their own form of releases which allows you to free yourself from unnecessary stress. It is a need for us to vent out that stress and turn it into something creative.

I preferred the feel and the sound of the older guitar. Pressing the frets feels like home. Peace be with you.

Music in her

She used to be a very shy girl and there's a lot of about her remains a secret even to me. One the beautiful hidden talents that I see in her is her love for music. She enjoys music and love to sing. I was astonished that she gathered courage to sing in front and her voice is lovely.

Figure 1: A potrait of her.

Her love of music is not only restricted to singing, but also to musical instruments. She is learning the keyboard and also the ukulele. She can play a few songs already while singing with those instruments. If she has learned it since small, I think she'll be a master of these instruments already.

Figure 2: Playing the piano.

Love you, you're a really special person.

Best I ever had

A favorite old song just came up in my player tracks when I am in flight back home. A song which sparks a lot of memories. Some of the best memories I ever had even though long gone but it just brings back those memories to life.
Used to sing this song a long time ago to someone who matters, will sing this song one day again, to those who matters now. As this song reminds me of a lot of mixed memories that I've had through-out my short but precious life. I'll cherish every single one of them, happy or sad, even as my mind gets forgetful as time passes-by.

Strings

Couldn't seem to sleep and kept waking up, reaching out for something comforting but couldn't as it all seemed so faraway. Those strings which are music to my ears, aren't within my grasp. I remember every moment spent together, feeling and strumming those six strings in harmony.

Those feeling are so faraway without the instrument in my hands. I can't remember why I didn't bring my solid wooden panel guitar back then. Now since I am without, I realized my loss. I am a very forgetful person, even if the memories are there, to actually feel them I need those strings.

"It scares me if I feel numb and can't feel that memory."

Whenever I take hold of it, I can remember my friend, teaching me lead notes of "Nothing Else Matters" which is about 8 years ago and another friend singing to me Nicholas Tse's song, "Without Me" last year. There are other songs which reminds me of how I felt during every significant memory in timeline mode.

"I can't seem to remember how it feels to be singing to her on my guitar."

It's a shame I didn't have those strings with me right now. I'll buy a solid one next month, might be very expensive, but might be worth it for the feeling, just for that moment and whenever I can't sleep I can lullaby myself to death. For now, I'll just force myself to sleep.
