Can't express..

Woke up today and it felt so unusually great that I couldn't comprehend this sudden feeling. Took my phone and read the great news from my sister, she manage to get awesome results from the recent examination. This boosted my spirit for today.

As a first child, I wasn't such a great studious student and I always prefer games to studying. This resulted in me being a very bad student in a very bad studying environment and education system. I don't blame the system though as it shapes me into a person who goes against the flow.

I have two extraordinarily smart sisters, and a similar yet opposite personality brother who is also a gamer but well controlled by my parents. My sisters went well with the country's educational system and conquered it. My sister after me is currently studying at the country's apex university.

Figure: My sister.
My second sister however is very similar to me, we're music oriented, she plays the piano while I play the guitar. Our skin color is the same, yellowish and slightly dark. I am easily distracted by small matters and so is she. She excels in logic and physics, which I also am, that makes me an engineer and she aspires to be a future chemical engineer.

I am proud of her and she makes my family very happy and proud. It will be a week plus before I'll be able to return back home. Now for the congratulatory gift, I wonder what should I get her. God is indeed great, I give all thanks to God for giving me such a wonderful family.

Gifts

I am a very selfish and stingy person, who always thinks of himself first and others later. The same goes for my siblings, I used to have all the toys for myself when I was a kid and share them only after I get bored of it or broken. I am slightly different now but still have those not so goodness in me.

I think of them every now and then, my sisters and my brother. Since my sisters are girls, I think more of them than my brother who is a better version of me in terms of games and studies. He is taller and looks more "handsome" than me too. So best think of my sisters.

So, since I recently met them early this month, I asked them what would they want, so, since they saw my vault "o" soles. They wanted soles. So soles shall I give them. I let them choose any shoe they want as long as it is of good quality, no matter the price.

Price is irrelevant when I'm sincerely giving gifts. Especially when it comes to people who matters. My sister  after me choose the Vans, as she is less posh and more cold. My little sister who is more lady-like and lively chooses the Adidas. In a jiffy, I got the order and cash transfer done.

To keep it shorter. Here are the pictures which my little sister posted as she was very happy with the shoes.

These shoes are based on the Adidas Stan Smith which is a very famous tennis shoes endorsed by the famous no.1 tennis player Stan Smith. With tweaks here and there, I barely recognized these shoes as the details of the original shoe is almost absent. Still great looking shoes from the trefoil.

My sister next to me got the wrong sizing, so I've send it back to the retail shop to make a size replacement for her Vans and post it to her university. Anyways, glad my sisters liked their gifts. Thank God for giving me wonderful sisters and family.

Imagination broadens..

Since I was a little kid, I hate to read. My life is filled with games, hanging out with friends and more games. I am a true example of a gaming addict, I grew so adept at my games that I even started to gamble real money online. It ended abruptly due to the relatively expensive internet bills which was a fact about 10 years ago.

I never had the passion to even touch a book, either spiritual nor educational. I have lots of books of course, bought by my loving parents, yet I barely touched them. Even reading homework given by my teacher wasn't read by me, but I simply asked my friend to eventually tell me the whole story.

I manage to make it through my high school days with decent results even by barely even touching a book unless forced onto me. I never had any intention to actually open up a book and start to eventually read and digest any information from it. Am I lazy or I don't have interest? I myself couldn't decipher myself at the time.

To keep the story short, when I reached university, I was forced to read in order to pass my tests, and it was never voluntary. I even asked my girlfriend to study ahead of me and teach me. This was usually futile as I have to read and actually teach her. So in the end, it's all about reading and studying just to survive university.

One day, my sister, introduced me to a book, she asked me to read it and of course I didn't. I didn't read it until I finally landed a job and started a new life as a working person. I found that I have nothing to do on my rest day and absolutely nothing of interest came to my mind.

So I opened my bag and found that there is a book in it, I was shocked as to find something which I really have no interest in popped right in front of my eyes. Finally, without much effort, I opened up the book and start to read. I fell asleep at the introductory paragraph, but as soon as I woke and start to read the first chapter, I simply got hooked. I don't know why.

I read it until the next day, I didn't slept the whole night. It was a truly magical book. It's a book written by Neil Gaiman entitled Anansi Boys. The book rocks, seriously. It opened up my mind and imagination by simply just reading. It's like a new music in me and that music really makes me dance inside out.

I have to thank my sister for this gift. I can now read with a broadened imagination. Reading is now a part of my passion besides my collectibles. Anansi Boys a truly recommended novel.
