Mundane

It's been quite an eventful week for me, filled with work and un-pleasantries. It is quite challenging for me, especially when dealing with people. It is really tiresome when you have to blast out all your energy just to get disappointed at and blamed.

I am feeling the stress and heat especially as I am the person squeezed in between. It really feels being squeezed and mushed in a large pressure cooker. Well, at least I managed to live it up for the past week. I really appreciate the weekends.

I need to find something to color up my life. Maybe this isn't my passion and not the field that I want to progress in. Or maybe it is the culture of the workplace that is dragging me down everyday. I need to invest in my passions. Sooner or later.

Jump!!!

When I first learn to jump, I was so excited that I jumped the whole day, I was so excited at the fact that  I can reach up further. Then there's that feeling when you're lifted from the ground for that short moment of time. Almost feel like you're flying.

I haven't been jumping much now, I guess I have lost the thrill. Still I find that by jumping you're training your legs muscle and it is actually beneficial to jump. It is quite tiring exercise as you are exerting your muscles to lift your whole body up into the air.

Above are a few images of friends enjoying their jump, while I enjoy looking at their expressions, jumping with joy not only stimulates your muscles but also pumps in those good positive energy inside your body, which I believe can reduce stress and is a form of pain reliever for those suffering pain in the inside.

So jump, be the best you can be and shine. Life is full of challenges that can bring you down and make you so sad that you refuse to be happy. Why not put that extra effort to jump, scream and release all that tension inside of you. Life is a beautiful walk, especially with God by your side.

Rest in peace

When the work gets tough and everyday seems like an eternity, or have been working for a week non-stop, you need to stop and take a break. A day a week is more than enough to re-energize yourself. Resting is a means to relieve yourself from work stress and take time to do what you enjoy.

It can be watching cartoon, going out to exercise, sleeping or even cooking your favorite meal. It is so subjective but very important to at-least rest for a day. My day of rest is on Saturday and this day is very important and significant to me.

There are times when I ignored the need to rest and went on a working spree, but I ended up tired and stressed out like a zombie. There's no life when you work 26 days straight for a whole month just to get 4 off days. Thus, a need to rest every week is important.

I find that my performance at work is better and I am more cheerful when handling work stress. I can cope with anything if I fully rested. Every-time Friday ends, I would say to myself, Thank God it's Friday. With that as usual I will take time to capture the beauty of sunset.

Figure 1: Take time to relax, it is worth it.

Aftermath

Its been sometime since I finished my semester, but the stress inside still feels like its happening. It has passed, but I seem to not been able to leave it at that and be at peace. Is the effect of over-stress that horrid. I can't help but to realize that there is always that ability of mine to rewind those moments when everything seems to have no hope, no light and I prayed. I tried so hard to heal myself. I guess that's not my job and I have to rely on a higher power.

I didn't get those results that I wanted or whatever things which I plan to get or collect, didn't work out. I hope to get my collection going as soon as possible. Things have been out of hand before still I never wished that things would get better than this. I am in the process of healing myself, detoxifying myself.

My brain is full of negativity, fear to fail, fear to go on, and fear of being alone, this is my weakness, Deep inside I felt that emptiness but I never strive to acknowledge it. I am in constant fear of my inability to find solutions due to tons of relevant and irrelevant data inside of me.

Still, I'm holding up, and I like to thank my Creator for allowing me not to break and crack myself during those torturous times. I want to free myself but I can't for only He can do it. And I can only praise and acknowledge that through his unending kindness, I can finally see the light and be glad.
